Stewart and Louise McKenzie took over The Greyhound Inn in early 2013 - their ambition to create a fine menu serving good local Suffolk produce and real ales.
The setting is superb. In the centre of the picture postcard village of Pettistree, the building is stunning, set back from the road with a sunny fenced beer garden to the front and nice pub tables and chairs inside. Louise has loads of experience of professional cooking and has made no compromises - everything is handmade on the premises.
Stewart who looks after front of house has really got the measure of running a pub and has quickly made locals and holidaymakers feel at home in this lovely country pub.
A lovely area for walking and cycling - this is certainly a pub to add to your itinerary.
